  Job Title: Video Manager                                                           Reports to: Director of Audio/Visual Ministries   FLSA Status: Exempt                                                                   Category: Full-Time (varied schedule)   Salary: Commensurate with experience   SUMMARY:   The primary function of the Video Manager is to assist, Reid Temple’s Director of Audio/Visual Ministries.   As Video Manager, the candidate is responsible for all video quality control aspects and to ensure that the church is given total support for all its video based needs.  In Addition the Video Manager will manage the church web presence.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   Video Management   Assist in managing the day-to-day activities of all church events; Implement and maintain inventory of all video/projection equipment; Recruit, train, access and evaluate volunteer membership’s skill sets, talents and potential in order to determine proper development; Schedule personnel for all services and events to ensure all venues are supported with qualified volunteers and/or contractors; Set-up and operate video and projection equipment for classrooms and/or meetings; Work with IT, to ensure the highest quality video content for web streaming, and video on demand products; Oversee Digital Presentation operation and staffing; Schedule and attend ministry meetings with other ministry Directors; Organize and ensure video productions for all announcements, skits, and ministry highlights in collaboration with Public Relations (ENG Crews) Assist with the management and stewardship of maintaining the Technical budget; Provide video/projection technical support for all events, activities and worship services; Build and maintain positive and effective relationships with tech team, pastoral staff, church leadership and ministry directors; Oversee all television monitoring/taping and outreach that originates in-house; not limited to web streaming and some video post productions; Maintain security and control of master video tape files Work with the church scheduler and public relations ministries to disseminate news & information Purchase, while maintaining an excellence of quality, text, graphics & sounds for digital presentations Video producing and editing Other duties as assigned, by Director of Audio/Visual Ministries   Website Management   Create, develop and manage content for organization’s web presence (requires working with content management software) Coordinate web projects across departments and amongst all ministries at both campuses Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties Maintain and develop the master content calendar for all web properties Copyedit and proofread all web content submitted by ministries Keep current with emerging web technologies to identify and recommend opportunities for Reid Temple Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference Track and report on all site metrics Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors   QUALIFICATIONS:   Strong and proficient in all aspects of video production and broadcast media so 4 – 7 yrs experience preferred; Experience in Lighting fundamentals; Project management experience helpful; Must be familiar with all of the technical skills involved in producing for broadcast and in-house video packages; Experience with workflow of video production and post production; The ability to operate: cameras, video switcher, audio mixer, CG, tape machine; Mac OSX, Windows, AVID Media Composer and strong computer skills;   Experience with graphic design and layout software, such as Adobe Creative Suite   Must have experience with new web site development, ongoing maintenance and site management. Must be proficient with PowerPoint; Knowledgeable with projection systems and presentation software; Excellent organizational skills; written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; Excellent customer service skills; Ability to multitask and manage projects; delegating tasks to others and meeting deadlines; Strong teaching/training skills with the ability to communicate technical terms into non-technical language; Ability to lead, motivate and inspire volunteers Willing and able to adjust work schedule based on church activities and events   PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:   While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required stand for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
